New Features - February 15, 2026
We're excited to announce four powerful new features designed to enhance how your community connects, communicates, and operates. From richer visual communication to streamlined administrative tools, these updates make GroupFlow even more effective at bringing your organization together.
- Chat Message Image Attachments
- Event Image Attachments
- Named Chat Channels
- Self-Service Refunds
Chat Message Image Attachments

Members can now share images directly in their chat conversations, making communication more visual and engaging. Whether you're coordinating event setups, sharing photos from community activities, or simply communicating more effectively, image attachments bring your chats to life.
This feature supports common image formats (JPEG, PNG, GIF (animated too), and WEBP) and makes it easy to share moments, documents, or visual information without leaving the conversation. Images appear inline in the chat thread, creating a seamless messaging experience that keeps everyone connected and informed.
Event Image Attachments

Event organizers can now upload multiple images to their event pages, transforming simple event pages into rich, visual experiences. Add photos that showcase your venue, highlight past event successes, or give members a preview of what to expect.
Images can be uploaded to existing events at any time. This visual storytelling capability helps increase event attendance by making your events more appealing and informative. After an event concludes, share photos of the gathering to build community engagement and celebrate your group's activities together.
Named Chat Channels

Organize your group's conversations with dedicated chat channels for specific topics, committees, or interest groups. Administrators can create focused discussion spaces that keep conversations organized and relevant to the members who need them.
Use named channels for member discussions around specific topics—whether it's a book club, hobby group, or ongoing community initiative—as well as for board discussions, committee work, or ongoing projects. Named channels keep topic-focused conversations organized in one dedicated place, making them easy to find and follow for the members who care about them. Access to each channel is invitation-only, giving you complete control over who participates in each discussion. Unlike direct message conversations, administrators can add and remove members from channels as needed, making it easy to manage evolving teams and committees without starting new conversations from scratch. Create as many channels as your organization needs to keep communication flowing efficiently.
Self-Service Refunds

Take control of your refund process with our new self-service refund capability. Administrators can now issue refunds instantly without waiting for support tickets or email exchanges with GroupFlow Support.
Refunds can be processed directly from two convenient locations: the Transactions page in your Admin Dashboard for quick access to all financial activity, or from the Event Attendance page when managing event-specific refunds. This streamlined process saves time for both administrators and members, providing faster resolution when plans change or adjustments are needed. Full refund tracking ensures you maintain complete visibility over all financial transactions.
